What payment types will be accepted?Nebula Wallet, Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Paypal.
How do I get paid out?Nebula income will always land in your Nebula Wallet as revenue trickles in. From there, in the Nebula Wallet, you can withdraw any amount at any time.
When do I get paid out?We collect money not just from streaming revenues but also every time the song is aired on radio or performed live on stage. We partner with different agencies and the payout varies from one to three months.
How do artists benefit from resales?Artists get a cut of every transaction. So, each time a token is resold, the artist gets a commission.
Once I purchase a token, can I trade it?As of today, no. We plan to roll this feature out ASAP. Note: You can only earn revenue of royalties if you own the royalty at the time of the payouts when the funds are collected by Nebula.
Are my contracts and transactions on the blockchain?Yes. We are deploying Smart Contract on the Polygon blockchain (Solidity). Transaction Hash is unique and shows the transaction and co-ownership details.
- What does “co-ownership” mean?
Co-ownership means that multiple owners have a piece of the song. This is why we built Nebula, to empower artists by giving them a platform to raise funds by selling pieces of the ownership to co-owners.
How does Nebula choose the artists for its platform, and how can I apply?Any user on Nebula can submit music for approval. You can do this from the web or our app. Note: You need a registration number (ISWC, ISRC) for the song when uploading to Nebula.
Do you have a partner program for music managers (aka A&R managers)?Yes, we work with selected A&R firms and individuals. At Nebula we value our culture of wanting to empower the artist. We like working with people who want to do the same thing.
Can an artist still release music through traditional channels, as well as Nebula?Yes, we are creating new music economics. It is additional revenue that didn’t exist before. You can still release music through your traditional channels.
What are the advantages of using a blockchain?Blockchain is the safest way to secure smart contracts. So, when you purchase ownership of a song on Nebula, this occurs on the blockchain. A guaranteed transaction and smart contract that is backed by the chain and specifies who owns what.
How can the community help to support Nebula?Nebula is a platform and a community. We appreciate the artist community and music industry behind the artist. Together we can be stronger and empower the artist and stakeholders of the music to earn more. The best way to support the Nebula community is by inviting friends and artists to the platform.
